“FUN, FUN, FUN!”
Review of Kaituna River Jet - CLOSED

Kaituna River Jet
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Taking a jet boat ride was so much fun. These drivers know where every rock and tree is in the river. Sit in the front if you don't want to get too wet and hold on to your camera. There is a a small snack bar and bathrooms available and they drive you down to the river where you get a life jacket.
Drivers are funny, but really know what they are doing.

The Kaituna River is located in the Bay of Plenty region of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the outflow from Lakes Rotorua and Rotoiti, and flows northwards for 45 kilometres, emptying into the Bay of Plenty near Te Puke.
The Jet-boat ride is very fast and furious and a lot of fun especailly the spins. You are warned if you take the back seats you will get wet, but worth it!.
You go up through a beautiful rainforest type canyon until the waterfalls and relax and look for a spell before the repeat hi-speed return.
Great fun!!!
