This was by far one of the best restaurant meals we had in NZ. We stopped at a famous landmark restaurant and were so unimpressed that we left. We found Ciccio driving by and decided to give it a try. It smelled delicious and was warm and inviting with candle-lit tables; a cozy atmosphere on a rainy evening!
We ordered the Rigatoni Amartriciana, Spaghetti Meatballs, garlic bread and wine. Our pasta arrived hot and had fantastic flavor. The garlic bread was delicious too. The wine recommendation was spot-on. Our server was new on the job but was friendly and took very good care of us. It was some of the best service we received in NZ. The prices are moderate too. I would definitely go back. We thought about how good this meal was every time we went out to eat and not many other places compared.
