Food is tasty and bountiful. Good atmosphere although we didn't stay for the live music since travelling with a 13 year old.

From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service - we were snapped up by a waiter and offered a table within seconds. Even though it was the Easter break and busy, the service was spot on. The meal size was generous. Garlic bread pizza was a great starter and the Chicken Burger and Steak & mushy pie completed filled us.

Curly fries was a nice touch!

We had a great dinner out - all 13 of us. The staff were very helpful. My 5 year old daughter has life threatening allergies which means we just don't dine out at all, it's too risky. But with forward planning and in talking to the friendly GM and the head chef, they went out of their way to ensure that my daughter was able to eat something off the menu, just like all the other kids in our group. It was an all inclusive experience for her, which was amazing! For us adults, we enjoyed a good pub meal and a nice wine. Very pleasant staff and great service - a great time as had by us all. Thanks very much!!

A varied menu. Good seating outside as well as in. My husband got the fish and chips. He should have chosen the half order. The full order was huge. I had some very good soup.

A chance find whilst spending a couple of nights in Rotorua. Away from the sulphur smell and incredibly friendly, efficient service and lush food! We ate here both nights as it's in the centre of town and offers an indoor seating area by the bar, plus an outside area, which is basically a largish space with ample tables and seating protected by polythene ceiling and walls. No view, but good ambience and appears popular with hen nights and birthday bashes. Everyone is welcome including families with young tots; high chairs are provided. An extensive menu, reasonably priced; we thoroughly enjoyed good food on both nights. Would recommend this pub restaurant, which is based in what was Rotorua's old Police station until 1969, so an impressive building and well worth a visit.
