It had been over a year since I had dined at Table and past experiences had been pretty good. The ambience hadn't changed - the menu had a slight variation on the last time - No specials were explained to us - we only found out there were any specials when the next table had it explained to them - too late we had already ordered. we chose the hot platter to share for a starter - sadly the scallops were stone cold - pointed this out to the waitress who didn't apologise or even seem to care. She was a humourless soul with chipped green nail polish, never smiled and over-used the word ''lovely''. The main course of Duck was delicious; the wine list never fails to appeal - all in all a pleasant meal that could have been made so much better with a little friendly, welcoming service.
Come on Table - I know you can do better!
