We had a dinner, shared with out-of-town friends and found the premises cosy and warm (an open fire).
Service was OK and unobtrusive. The menu and blackboard specials offered a reasonable selection, and prices for starters and entrees good, but for the mains a bit on the high side.
We had a selection of many of the offerings and the best deal was the hamburgers which were a good enjoyable meal. The mains, pork, lamb cutlets and steaks were overpriced for what we got, poorly presented and cooked. Disappointing, to say the least. The deserts were lovely and a great selection.
