Our group of 4 friends dined here on a Saturday night. We were told they were busy as there were a couple of birthday parties on, however, we thought we were lucky in being shown to a table. Not So!
We arrived at 7pm but should have been told that we would not be receiving our meals until 8.20pm.
We were also seated beside the children's area, with toy's and games. Children were left here by parents to run amok. More than once a child nearly ran into a waitress carrying food to tables. Children are unsupervised in this area.
It's all very well saying 'we are busy tonight' but you need to give guests the choice about whether to wait over an hour for food or simply leave - as we would have, given the choice.
Upon complaining to a waitress after being seated for an hour, she told us the kitchen is in a bit of chaos and they would not listen, even if she did go in.
This Cobb & Co has more tables than they can comfortably service - or not enough chefs.
As for the food, my lamb shank was tough and the cauliflower under cooked. Another of us had the half chicken with was also tough, overcooked; another had chicken alexander which was ok but her mashed potato was cold.
We definitely won't be back.
