We came on a Friday evening and enjoyed a lovely meal out at this quaint French restaurant. It is small and if full you may be a bit hemmed in, but this night was fairly quiet.
Service was excellent, with suggestions being made re wine choices too.
The menu gives a good range of choices in entrees and mains, but we both heard that there was blue cod as fish of the day and chose that.
We skipped entrees, but were offered an amuse bouche before our main arrived. We both thought presentation was done very well and the taste! So yummy! The fish has been poached and was presented in a roll, but was so moist and tender and flavoursome. Accompaniments complemented the fish without overpowering it - the fish came in a type of soup, so I asked for a spoon, but it really wasn't needed as it was thick enough to go with the fish and also be soaked up by the bread that came out with the main.
We enjoyed the ambience of the evening, the food was a-maz-ing! Definitely recommended for an evening out.
