We, a family group of five, recently stayed at 332 The Quay, Wellington, New Zealand. The apartment, on two levels, was brilliant, spacious, spotlessly clean and a most enjoyable time was had by all of us. We especially loved the view from the eleventh floor apartment, which had access to two balconies, one from the lounge area and the other downstairs and accessed from two of the three bedrooms. The apartment building is centrally located, in fact, right in the centre of town and luckily we already knew that there was a Supermarket close by.
The negatives were: the oil heater was not at all adequate for the open living area which included the kitchenette/living/lounge and stairwell down to the entrance door. We felt uncomfortably cold, especially in the evenings, until we resorted to turning on the range oven and opening the oven door to give us some aditional heat. This was very effective! The same type of heaters were in the bedrooms which heated the rooms just fine, especially with the doors closed to keep the heat in.
There was an elaborate shower/tub in the bathroom, with several water jets up the wall but unfortunately, the instructions were written in Japanese! We did work out how to use the shower though!
We will definitely stay there again if we are in Wellington on another occasion.
