Meet friends at this market on a wonderful Sunday (Mother's Day). Lots of wonderful food and produce. Was a great winters day and we were able to grab a variety of things and set near the harbour and eat. Definitely add this to your 'to do' list while visiting.

What a great way to see a brilliant cross-section of the Wellington community, and enjoy the bounty of the fall harvest! We got most of our food for the week, incredible selection, good prices. Plenty of food trucks, specialty items (fresh herbs and hummus, amazing honey, etc). Performances from musicians and other community groups. Parents out with their strollers, right along the harbour and the Te Papa museum. Had a little trouble finding a taxi afterwards to get all our goodies home, but otherwise, can't be beat.

Having been to a few harbourside markets in several cities I was not expecting such an amazing array of fresh fruits and vegetables. There was cheese, small goods, great baked goods and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyable and the Hungarian chimney cakes in particular were a stand out.

Very near the Te Papa museum and the waterfront, a good, friendly Sunday morning indoor market. Plenty of local produce stalls, delicious bread, deli, organic veg and cheese. Try before you buy. Coffee etc available. Plenty of scope for brekkie, lunch, picnic and stocking up the campervan! Well worth a visit. A local pointed it out to us, otherwise we may have missed it. Visit if you get the chance, even just for the fresh cooking smells. Opens early Sunday mornings.
