We stayed here on a weekend break to celebrate my wife's birthday. We chose the hotel as it is generally regarded and one of the best in Wellington.
We had a guest studio, which was on the small side, although it was arranged well so there we no issues getting around. Everything was clean and tidy. In hindsight we probably should have got a bigger room especially as we intended to spend a large portion of our time in the room itself.
The pool, sauna and hot tub downstairs were welcome on the coolish days we were there. The restaurant food was also good.
The location is good for the north side of Wellington city (eg. for parliament, shopping on Lambton Quay, botanical gardens). It is a bit further from the nightlife areas around Courtenay Place and Cuba Street, but still walking distance.More
