We had booked another Quest which because of water damage we had to change hotels this was good for us as Johnston was closer to the central city. The location is excellent next to Kirkcaldie and Stains and only a few minutes to the waterfront. We offered to have a roll away extra bed in the room as my sister and I didn't want to share a double bed. This was ok'd months before we arrived. (We were offered two rooms for the price of one but we were going away to be together so asked for the roll away (this did give them another room to rent for 3 nights)We were disappointed that there was no pillow for the bed and when we asked were told that there were no spare pillows as the hotel was full and lots of people wanted extra ones. We didn't want extra we just wanted one for the bed. We were there for 3 nights and said please give us one for the last two nights..... no pillow for those nights either. I know it is only a small thing but it should have been handled better. The hotel was clean, central, the bathroom has no shelf at all to put a toilet bag or anywhere to put clothes taken on or off for the shower. Would we stay there again, probably because it is central but maybe we will look around at others nearby first when we go back next year

Room Tip: We were in a B room had the window open at night and didn't think there was undue noise for the location. One could even get a 'peep of the sea'

Stayed two nights in a two bed apartment. Spacious, well equipped and great location. Reception staff were extremely helpful. This is a great value for money, simple non-luxury apartment - would certainly recommend for friends/two couples visiting Wellington for the weekend.

We found the staff very friendly and helped with a small problem with the booking when we arrived which was greatly appreciated as we'd been stuck in Auckland airport all day due to fog. The accommodation is exactly as described when booking and for two adults and two teenage children it fully met our needs for the long weekend we stayed there. It's very central allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to see except Zealandia which is a bit out of town. I wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Came to Wellington with two teenagers for the weekend. Check in was quick and easy by a friendly, helpful young man. Car parking is across the street at the Wilson Car Park. Getting a car park outside the apartments to check in was probably the hardest part. The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Apart from a very small bathroom and a single bed that was passed by it used by date we had no complaints. The lounges were comfortable and enough TV's to keep teenagers happy. We were not sure if two or three teenagers were coming to Wellington with us. The Quest had a rollaway available for us to use if we needed it in the room. With a central location, spacious rooms bathroom excluded and friendly helpful staff the Quest is well worth staying in when you visit Wellington. Have stayed there in the past and will stay again in the future.

We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfectly comfortable for 5 of us (3 adults/2 children) - they supplied a rollaway in the lounge for the 5th person. It was well appointed and clean. It was a rather small bathroom but certainly adequate.

Biggest advantage is the location - very central to everything Wellington has to offer. We found it easy to walk everywhere including Te Papa, Parliment Buildings, the Stadium, shopping precinct etc.

Would definately stay here again.
