We stayed here for two separate nights late Feb and had the same room both times. Unfortunately there was a building aircon unit outside which meant we had to shut the window for quiet. This was OK as the weather was mild, but would be terrible if hot. The rooms are small and outdated, though the bathroom had been refurbished and was very clean Staff friendly and helpful with advice. Breakfast was included in the price and was OK but nothing to get excited about. Overall, and average hotel, but convenient and would stay again if the price is right.

Room Tip: Room 211 is close to airconditioning unit, avoid it if you can.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We do have an investment programme in place so we will continue to find noise suppressant solutions for the rooms that have air conditioning unit noise. Our 3.5 star centrally located hotel is compact and we have an ongoing maintenance programme in place for the hotel along with a recent change of management and also key staff so we are confident of providing our customers an excellent experience in our very friendly hotel. Our breakfast menu is always under review so we take on board your comment and will look to add value to this where we are able to do so. We do hope you return to the hotel again soon and give us the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

We booked trinity Hotel for a one night stay. Greeted by very friendly and efficient receptionist, in our small, but more than adequate room (For the price) in no time. We had arrived late due to the usual Air new Zealand flight delays. Decided to dine in the hotel. It was obvious that the Chef was up to his neck catering for a large friendly and boisterous birthday party group. However he gave us a smile, invited us to have a drink at the bar, (We were going to anyway!) and he would be with us shortly to provide us with a meal to remember. He came thorough on his promise, superb meal and a friendly chat with Dave the Chef once he had a spare moment. Can't understand the complaints re noise. ITS A CITY, people. If you want silence book a place in the country. Hotel is great value for money, staff friendly and aware of what service means. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am delighted you enjoyed your time in Eclipse Bar and the Trinity Hotel. I have passed your comments on to our Chef. We work very hard to ensure our staff are friendly and efficient along with giving our customers a rewarding experience when staying or dining with us. A recent change of our management team and key staff will ensure we continue to try to exceed our customers expectations. The Friday night you were with us was an extremely busy night and it is uplifting to receive your comments. Noise can be an issue being a central city Hotel and we do our best to minimise this as much as we can. Thank you again for your comments.

Regards
Andrew B

Bed is not comfy. Sheets are of inappropriate size for the bed. Shower room got molds. Walls got wall paper pulled off. The room we stayed is was like a dungeon! Trinity Hotel is not a hotel! It does not belong to that classification! I have stayed in different hotels here and abroad but sorry, Trinity Hotel.

This hotel is way overpriced... The hotel is quite worn out and dirty, the room has no air condition but you can open the window... theres no difference in noise if the windows are opened or not. You can enjoy all the things happening on the street and on the corridor and especially all the door closings on your level. Never had such a bad sleep in a hotel. I was a bit late with packing on the next morning and the staff kicked me out of the hotel very unfriendly. The only thing I enjoyed was the convenient location in the city. But there are backpackers accommodations, too. And certainly with the same quality of stay for less money.

Room Tip: Room in a different hotel.

We stayed at Trinity Hotel on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th March for a conference in Wellington.
The Hotel is a little old but all the staff are fantastic, and could not be more helpful or obliging. On Friday night a group of us had dinner there and what a treat !! Any Friday night that you want a good meal in Wellington, go and see David. Get him to do you his Special Platter, you will not be disappointed. Pam & Morris Richards

Room Tip: We had a quiet room facing a car park. You need to be on a high floor, preferably not facing Willis Street, to avoid traffic noise as there is no double glazing. However this is something that is hard to avoid when you are right in the centre of any major City. Overall god value for money.
