Two or three times a year, ANZAC Day for one, the historical preservation society open up the world war 2 tunnels of the gun emplacements for people to inspect. You can drive most of the way up to the top and park at the old parade ground for the army contingent based there. It is worth a visit for the view even if the tunnels are not open on a fine day.
