A wander around the Night Markets on Friday night anf then off for a tipple at one of the small bars and dinner at a restaurant here is well worth it.

I don't know how to explain it, but I just never got tired of walking up and down this street. So many really interesting shops, places to eat and drink and even just shop windows to look into. I felt really attracted to the place, the vibe is so positive. A must-do in Wellington.

if you like great food, cool bars, interesting shops - you will love Cuba Street! There is always entertaining buskers - street music or somebody interesting to watch!! Some of the best cafes and restaurants are in this area too - check out Olive, Aunty Meanas, Matterhorn for sure!!

Cuba Street is a vibrant area - partially vehicle free, that has plenty of eateries and bars for whatever mood you're in. There are also specialty shops and a department store, not to mention the buskers - there is always someone providing entertainment - and they are usually pretty good!

I really enjoy the atmosphere Cuba Street offers both locals and visitors. There always feels a vibrancy and vitality about this area. Whether it is food from the many café/restaurant's of shopping at some boutique stores and larger department stores or visiting the Friday Night Market, there is plenty for all.

The night market offers free entertainment and a number of different ethnic street food stalls, a great place to try different cuisines from around the world and learn about the culture.
