This restaurant is in a small terrace house on Boulcott Street in Wellington and does not take bookings. It usually fills up by 6:30ish.
Food: The food is rich and delicious. It is pricey but well worth it if you can afford to splurge more than you usually would. Both times I've been they catered to my gluten and dairy free requirements. My first time they didn't have any desserts on the menu that I could eat so they created a fresh fruit sorbet for me instead.
Service: Excellent. The staff even sneakily organised writing 'happy anniversary' on my fiancés plate in chocolate for dessert.
Atmosphere: Quiet and cosy with warm lighting. Despite having white linen on tables the atmosphere is not pretentious. I even noted one fellow taking off his work shoes whilst at dinner.
