Stayed for two nights on a tour of New Zealand. The rooms (lodges) are very well equipped and have wonderful bathrooms and lounges. We managed to walk/stumble to 4 different vineyards and on both of our evenings here had fantastic meals. The restaurant is in a treat location and the service was excellent. We could not find fault with anything at this hotel. Recommend the nearby chocolate factory and the lunch at Giesen vineyard .

A very quiet and comfortable location in the heart of the Marlborough vineyards.
The hotel had lovely, modern, spacious suites in a country setting, smack in the middle of the Marlborough vineyards.
We dined in the restaurant both nights. The meal was very good and service great.
Throroughly recommend a stay.

Thank you for your review. At the moment it really is Vineyard central as we are in the middle of Harvest so you can stop along the way and get great shots of the grapes coming off.

Unfortunately our stay here was very short, due to the ferry delay and our late arrival. Our suite consisted of a very comfortable and simply decorated lounge, dining and kitchen area, with a separate bedroom and huge bathroom. The setting in the vineyard was lovely. Parking at your door and free wifi were great, but the best feature was the intense water pressure - making the shower fantastic! Loved it! Would definitely come again, but hopefully with more time to spend sampling the local produce, (and the shower!!)

We have to agree with you we are very lucky that we have such strong water pressure and it is due to the fact we have our own water bore. Great for washing your hair!

We were driving to Picton, planning to stay in a hotel there before catching the ferry the next day, when we drove past the MVH. "Stop the car!!" I cried. I dashed in to find out if they had a room for the night. I was told they only have suites....and lo and behold a suite worked out at about £95!!! The one bedroom suite was almost bigger than the flat we live in! It was gorgeous! The bathroom was enormous and the shower was one of the best we had in NZ. But the other thing that was wonderful was the meal in the hotel. The choice was great, lovely ambience, the wine was amazing. It was one of the best impromptu stops we have ever made. Thoroughly recommended!

Room Tip: We had a garden facing suite and it was lovely but the ones facing the vineyard had just as nice a v...

What a gorgeous place, in the middle of the vineyards.

A very quiet, comfortable place, with a landscape to die for.

The suites are very large, with a separate bedroom. There is no full kitchen, but the microwave and fridge were very convenient.

There is no washer/dryer in the units, but they have coin-operated machines next to the reception area.

You can hire bikes from the hotel, which is the best way to explore the wine trail. You can also walk across the street to try Daniel Lebrun's No.1 Methode Traditionnelle, one of the best sparkling wines in the world.

Don't forget to try the restaurant. The food is delicious. Try the degustation menu, with the wine pairing, it's really worth it.

We loved our experience at Marlborough Vinters Hotel, and would definitely go back there on our next trip to New Zealand.

Room Tip: Stay at least 2 nights.

We are glad you enjoyed your time in Marlborough and especially the time you spent with us.
It is very handy to have NO1 Family estate as a neighbour as it is where we send all of our guests to start their day and what a way to start your day!!!

MVH offer comfortable, high quality accommodations on a site in the midst of the vineyards along Rapaura Road near Blenheim. The suites are spacious and well equipped. The style of the buildings and furnishings is very modern.

There is an on site restaurant which is welcome since the property is some distance from town.

MVH is well worth the splurge!

Room Tip: The Vineyard view suites are recommended for quiet and an attractive view.

We only stayed here for one night but had a lovely night. We really enjoyed our vineyard suite which was very quiet and comfortable with a spacious shower room. We also enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant. I would recommend asking for the vineyard end of a block rather than the road end. Staff were friendly and helpful and the wine good. Would recommend.
