“Fantastic week of photography!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

Just finished a NZ photo tour for 7 days with Will at Driftwood Eco Tours, based at Blenheim. Peter Eastway and Tony Hewitt were the instructors and we all traveled to the top photographic spots in Will's van. Will was extremely helpful and attentive, bringing us morning and afternoon teas at all sorts of extreme locations! His local knowledge was the reason for the huge success of this photo tour and I'd recommend his company to anyone visiting the area!

“Relaxing and informative kayaking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

Read reviews on TA and decided that this was an experience not to be missed. There were 4 of us all from Australia, keen to go kayaking after walking the Queen Charlotte track. Will was an excellent guide, informative, no stress and had great knowledge of local history and ecology. The kayaking was relaxing on inland waters with some good birdlife and views. Vix (Will's dog) was happy to sit on the front of my kakak, cup of tea and home cooked cakes for morning tea and then smoked salmon rolls and pie for lunch (all provided). will kindly dropped us back at the airport after a quick clean up. All in all a day not to be missed, Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting an outdoor adventure in Blenheim that is not too challenging.

We spend alot of time getting to know our clients so when on the water we cater for their skill level to make an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Each tour is so different and it's this that helps us to look for ways to improve and hopefully delight our clients. Thank you for another positive review.

“Pure and authentic kayak experience ("off the beaten track")”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2014

We enjoyed a unique and beautiful kayak experience in the wetlands surrounding Blenheim. Will is a great, friendly guide with deep knowledge of the area and its history. He shares this with lots of enthusiasm. We would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for an 'off the beaten track' experience!

We had a very entertaining and interesting outing and saw lots of wildlife. Will photography tips much appreciated by myself being a beginner with my camera but got lots of great shots. Will delightful little dog Vix accompanied us enthusiastically and is trained very well not to interfere with the birdlife. We returned at dusk having had a wonderful trip. We will return some day with more camera batteries!!!

“Three days round Mralborough”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

Will took our party of 8 on a 3-day tour from Murchison up the Rainbow Valley to Hanmer and then back to Blenheim, with Will providing lunches and transport. We had a great time, with Will providing an entertaining and informative commentary on the ecology, geology and history of the area. The Rainbow is a must-see, starting in a forest of huge beech trees and slowly climbing until there's not a tree in sight. If the outdoors and back country is your thing then I recommend this company for an enjoyable and memorable trip at a very reasonable price.
