Saint Claire restaurant and cellar are very nice, with absolutely perfect home-like service, charming views to grape fields, sunny outdoor area and tasty food, not only wine is worth trying, but cappuchino as well )
as in other wineries, you will be suggested to try all the wines they produce

Make sure you include Saint Clair in your Marlborough wine tasting experience. The wines are sumptuous, the staff knowledgeable and helpful and the food delicious. My particular recommendation would be the Monk's platter which you should not consider if you have any religious principles which involve self denial.

If you enjoy consitent high quality wines then I can reccomend St Clair.
An interesting little shop adjacent to the winery that sells a great variety of foodstuffs like chutneys, jams, etc.
The winery staff were very helpful and knowledgable about their wines.

We flew into Blenheim and needed to unwind with our two young sons. Our hotel recommended this spot as being good for children. Yes is did have a children's menu but our sons have a more sophisticated palate and immediately wanted the prawn kebabs on the adult menu. We asked if that could be split between them (and it couldn't) but an extra plate was brought and we split them ourselves. All our meals were delicious, the garden was particularly colourful with autumn foliage and it was the perfect start to a relaxing family weekend.

This was brilliant for our group because it was a sunny day and the lunch here was magnificent...home cooked, a table with friends looking out to the countryside and the excitement of a big variety of sauvignon blancs we just don't get in Australia.
Thanks to Chris the cellar door manager who advised staff on the phone which St Clair "blocks" to give us...the pinot was brilliant too.
