We stayed here in the Shearers Quarters for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! The owners are wonderful--leave fresh food in room for breakfast! We are wine lovers and this was a great addition to the fun of wine tasting.

My husband and I loved our 2 night stay at St. Leonard Cottages. We stayed in The Old Dairy, which is a perfect sized accomodation for two. The grounds are great for exploring. The only thing more lovely than the cottages are the owners! They were such sweet people. I would highly recommend this place!

This is a wonderful place to get back to basics and relax.

Our cottage looked over the vineyards, furniture was cosy and comfortable. The fridge was stocked with eggs, butter, bread, marmalade and wonderful quince jelly that was made by the lovely owner Daphne.

It was lovely to sit on the veranda, drinking wine and watching the sun go down of an evening.
We had a wonderful nights sleep and wish we could have stayed at this wonderful venue longer. Hopefully next time we are in NZ, we will make time to stay here again.....oh to be there again!!!!!

Our family group of two couples stayed in the woolshed at St Leonard's and we were delighted with everything - the spacious accomodation , the helpful but not 'in your face' hosts and of course the tranquil Marlborough ambience with the verdant valley framed by scenic mountains .
Breakfast supplies were good , an excellent supermarket not far away and a taxi can be arranged for eating (and drinking ....) out .
We loved the place

We stayed in the Old Dairy for one night and thought it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and functional (including a kitchenette). The breakfast goods left in the fridge were perfect as well.

Plenty of space for a couple of New Yorkers but if you are used to more space or are planning to stay a while you might find it a tight fit. Also, not as secluded as the other units.

We stayed in The Old Dairy which was small but more than adequate for a two night stay. Everything is very clean, the bed comfortable and shower surprisingly powerful. The self service, continental breakfast was generous including eggs from the owners' chickens (one of whom came to visit us!) and homemade marmalade. Laundry facilities are provided at no charge as were use of a range of mountain bikes, two of which we used for a fabulous, sunny day touring the vineyards. Paul even selected the most appropriate bike sizes and pumped up the tyres for us. The solar heated pool with comfortable loungers was a great spot from where to watch the sun set over the neighbouring vineyard.
Everything about St Leonards is charming, relaxing and slightly eccentric. The English expat owners Daphne and Paul clearly love their land, livestock and lifestyle and it was a pleasure to have been part of it all for a couple of days during which the sun shone throughout.
Would both recommend and return.

This place is just awesome. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every minute, we just felt right at home. By far the best stay in our six week traveling around the amazing country of New Zealand.
Paul and Daphne are wonderful hosts, they are very helpful and know everything about what to do in the area, lots of the famous vineyards are very close. They provide a good breakfast what is left in the fridge.
We had the Shearers Quarters witch is very spacious and comfy. It's just next to a very nice vineyard. Wandering around the garden is a highlight there are big old trees, lemon, orange and grapefruit trees and not to forget the sheep. Just loved to sit in the middle of the garden. There also is a nice clean pool.
Will definitely return.
