Description: Named after the original walnut trees that lined the entrance to the winery, lunch at our Twelve Trees Restaurant is a must for visitors, and locals alike. The great food and relaxing atmosphere, whether in the sheltered courtyard, or inside by the fire, provide a warm welcome. Menus change seasonally to reflect Head Chef, Matt Gibson's simple food philosophy "fresh & local". However a couple of signature dishes, including the Seafood Chowder, which has become a local favourite, remain on the menu year round. Come in and try it with the delicious Wallops Chardonnay!

Such great food! We had a salmon fillet and lamb loin. Both were perfectly done. Delicious. Great beer on tap and the wine ...fabulous. Just loved the place.

“A perfect lunch option!”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

You can't ask much more from a restaurant. The courtyard is beautiful, the service extremely friendly and the food &wine very nice. Great salmon and lovely cheesecake desert. We got treated for coffee because they took a bit long to bring the desert menu, which we actually hardly noticed since we were enjoying the place so much! Attention to details maximized. Very children friendly too.

“Nice lunch with new friends plus a wine tasting”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

We had a lovely lunch in the outdoor area. It was a bit cool but the heaters were on and we were quite comfortable.
After the main course we went for a wine tasting and then back to the table for dessert and coffee.
It was a very pleasant afternoon and we particularly enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc.

“First class in every way”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

We are lucky enough to now be living in Renwick and near to Twelve Trees and frequently go for morning coffee. Recently we decided to treat ourselves to lunch and, as expected, it was truly excellent. We both had the salmon which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented - we also sampled the lovely wine that Alan Scott is famous for. We can only heap more praise on the staff both on the frontline and in the kitchen - a perfect lunch in every way. Special mention must be given to Kathy and Maree who are true ambassadors for Twelve Trees and such jolly and sociable girls who never fail to make us smile. Well done everyone

“A very pleasant luch and Alan Scott wine”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

We had lunch after a wine tasting. Really friendly staff and food in a lovely shady courtyard with lots of character. We could have easily stayed longer, but needed to get to the Marlborough ( Blenheim) airport for a flight to Wellington and thence to Australia.
