We booked to experience a Segway, but were absolutely thrilled with the sites and commentary provided by Graeme. As our four day trip to Christchurch comes to a close I can honestly say this tour was the highlight of the trip for us. Highly recommended.

I live in Christchurch and this is simply the best way to see the City.
Graeme is a in efficient instructor and fantastic guide.
He's clearly adapted his tours due to the recent events in Christchurch so we split our Segway time between the Quake cordon zones and the gorgeous surrounding Hagley Park.
Graeme is full of interesting facts about the city as he guides you around safely, but also encourages you to go freewheeling in the park.
My only regrets are we booked for the shorter tour (I didn't want to stop) and also that I didn't with the race at the end. Maybe next time.

I have previously done a Segway tour of Paris, so it may have been a bit much to expect more from this tour, but Graeme the friendly tour guide outdid the Paris tour! The tour started in a park in the city centre where Graeme was a very patient teacher. Segway's are easy to use and extremely intuitive. I can guarantee just about anyone can ride one given a few minutes training.
The tour I was on was a nice small group of 5 people which made it very intimate, and gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Graeme was a Christchurch local, and was very knowledgeable.
We then went out of the CBD into the suburbs, through some beautiful parks and spectacular gardens. There was plenty of opportunities to take photos, and Graeme helped out with a few group shots.
I was incredibly impressed with the whole tour, Graeme as our guide, and the bargain price! I can't recommend this highly tour highly enough. My only warning is that after you ride a Segway, you'll want to buy one!

Graeme Gordon was an excellent host and guide for our Boxing Day 2010 tour of historic Christchurch and surrounds. Despite challenging circumstances arising out of the day's earthquakes, we were still able to get around town, including the CBD, past the botanic gardens, into Mona Vale, and the beautiful homes in Fendalton. We had a great time!
