Thought we'd expand our brunch horizons in Christchurch City Centre and try something new. The Coffee Club in Victoria street was a bad choice. Their coffee was bad, and brunch was so sad.
Poached eggs looked and tasted like a toddler's try at poaching in little poaching cups. Bacon and tomatoes cooked/grilled under an electric conveyor top grill (??). Needless to say - tasteless, colourless food. Yet you pay the same for standard breakfast items as you would at other restaurants who employ real chefs.
Not going back.
