I invested $15 and 45 minutes of my life to witness the devastation of the centre of Christchurch, New Zealand after the THREE earthquakes they have endured since 2011. A very informative and well balanced tour with good levels of information from Anthony from the Christchurch Museum team. My friend ( a Christchurch resident) was also full of praise so it is worth the trip for both visitors and locals. The demolition work, repair and rebuilding work is on-going (24/7) but the resilience and positivity of the Cantabrians (Christchurch residents) is to be applauded. The tour takes you to Red Zone "no-go" areas that are only accessible by the workers so it is a real once in a lifetime opportunity. The monies also go towards the cost of the renovations - so it's ALL GOOD!
