Pedro's specialty, his Shoulder of Lamb is amazing the flavours combine to make an excellent meal. Add some vegetables to go with the lamb ,potatoes and gravy and you have a winner.

We found this on tripadvisor and would recommend Pedros to everyone! We were treated so well on the phone and at the window where we picked up the takeout! The lamb is absolutely delicious - just falls off the bone. Thank you for a delicious meal!!

Was staying at a motel across the road and walked past Pedro's 20ft container. Smelled fantastic so ordered a take-away to have in the motel. The lamb was the most tender I can ever remember having, with plenty for 2 people. Well worth the $35. If I lived here I would be at Pedro's every week.

My husband loves lamb so whilst we were doing a lot of self-catering whilst in New Zealand, I always kept an eye on good lamb meals for him. I am very glad to have found out about Pedro's here on TripAdvisor as it ended up being a fantastic find. Lamb is far from being a favourite of mine but the meat was cooked to such perfection that it is impossible not to love it. We stopped by at around 4pm and ordered it for that same night. Great price as well.
Hope Pedro finds a way to re-open his restaurant at some point but in the meanwhile his van is a MUST STOP place in Christchurch, for sure.
