Description: Hello Sunday is a delightful cafe set in one of Sydenhams oldest two buildings. It has been lovingly restored by owners Jonathan Spark, Yasmeen Clark and Chris Penny. Drawing from its previous incarnations as an old Post Office then Sunday School to the old wooden church that it sits beside. We are a cafe serving restaurant quality fresh food, we proudly have the Conscious Consumers badge of approval and take real pride in caring for our staff and for our customers. We have 5 seating areas indoor and outdoor all with their own atmosphere. Night dinning is a shared affair with a wonderful Tapas menu, yummy cocktail list and quality wines and Craft beers. Hello Sunday, where you get to feel a little of the old style, relaxed Sunday everyday.

Awesome lunch in Sydenham at Hello Sunday Cafe - wow.
I would recommend it for various reasons - firstly the nice location set inside a lovely historic old post office building. The food was super - really great service and such nice ambience with enough background noise to allow private conversation without it ruining the relaxation.
So hard to choose from the extensive menu & great cabinet good that we will have to come back. The cinnamon broiche was just perfect !
There are new cafés popping up everywhere, they are a pleasure to explore - get out & support this young crew who are taking on the food scene & setting the standards

“Hello Sunday - we'll be back Monday”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

Delightfully restored late 1800s wooden building which has had potted history as a post office /Sunday school. Pleasant, motivated staff, great coffee and tea. Enviable brunch menu - we went a little fresher with fish tacos which had lovely flavours - but all the plates coming out looked great. Sensible portions...phew.Sit in the pretty courtyard or take in the peaceful interior which makes a tasteful nod to nostalgia. Great destination cafe - brunch here then shop at the trendy Colombo across the car park or take in an art house movie at the Academy. Plotting on getting my work team here for a culinary therapeutic escape. Love it.
