Been here a couple of times now and thoroughly enjoy the animal rights burger with Chips and a glass of wine. Very tasty and well priced. A few issues about accepting entertainment guide vouchers but I'm sure this will be addressed.

If you're from aus, you'd know about grill'd and these burgers are the same style... But bigger. If you're not hungry consider sharing - we ordered too much!

Just excellent burgers, including veggie options. Whilst the prices are by no means cheap, the quality is superb and there are offers to be had. For example we were there on a Tuesday and after 20.00 it was a 2 for 1 deal. Furthermore we were unaware of this deal and arriving just before the deal kicked in the server told us about it and so we just waited for a couple of minutes before ordering. The choice is yours but our party had the Big Brown, Big Bro, Velvet Lady and the Animal Rights all of which were absolutely ace.

Great wee place, menu was good - only thing we would have loved to see was Sliders (only because I can never decide on a flavor and sliders are usually a combo so you get to try different ones).

Some points I noted:

- Wipe down leather seats, ours were covered with salt from previous people and with the black fabric its really obvious.
- Wipe down tables ASAP, our table was clear when we arrived but had not been wiped down and had sticky stuff and salt on it.
- Alot of staff on the shift post 8pm rush. Not sure if this was necessary - there was not a dedicated person in the bar even though there were at least 6 staff standing around.
- We thought it was hilarious having Double Brown on the menu, and at a good price too $4.50. Nice point of difference.
- Staff were friendly and helpful and well presented.
- Possibly need to make the process when you arrive more clear, we stood at the counter not knowing if we had to wait to be seated or just fend for ourselves. Considering how quiet it was, we were surprised that the staff were not more forthcoming and attentive.
- Possibly need to get some more mature staff to help with presence throughout the restaurant, there was alot of congregating in the kitchen space out back rather than mixing with customers to sell more drinks or see how things are going or adding on more items.

Overall a nice experience, the food came out so fast we were in and out within about 35mins including some sitting around time after eating. Entertainment Book voucher acceptance was an added bonus aswell.

2-4-1 Tuesdays created a made rush at 8pm without a steady flow into the place with the entrance way packed with people. Great deal, just need to get in about 7.45pm and have a drink first while you wait to order at 8pm.

Would go back again.

Online ordered four burgers (2 chicken one lamb and one beef). Kumara chips and half a scoop of normal chips.

We all enjoyed our burgers but they weren't hot enough (we only live a 5 minute drive away).
I don't think it would have reached the required temperature prior to leaving the grill).

Lamb patty was very tasty but thin (the patty was the size that you would get at a free bbq) so not really worth the money.

Kumara chips were over cooked and cold and other chips were cold by the time we got home too.

They are in the entertainment book, but can't use that online!

May consider giving it another go, but with another Burger joint 5 mins away where it's always hot and fresh.... I don't know.

Thank Andrea E
