Lovely country setting, friendly efficient service and very tasty brunch menu. Meals are a great generous size and really tasty which backed up by great coffee makes an excellent combination for that Sunday brunch.
Always busy with locals and visitors alike it's a good idea to book ahead.
All round an awesome experience.

Went there as a family gathering, 12 people ( six adults and six children) for lunch.
We had a delightful time, the food was great, service friendly and the setting just wonderful on a hot sunny day. The food was well plated and service great, Steaks were of a good size and cooked as asked, with just the right amount of salads. Desert was delicious and enormous
with lashings of whipped cream and fresh fruit. Considering the number of guests at the Café, the staff were attentive and helpful, providing assistance for the youngsters including highchairs and children's treats.
Well worth a visit, but choose a quiet day, as it is a very popular spot, with a great safe playground for the children.

This cafe is set in the country area of Tai Tapu. Set in a large informal garden great for a coffee and lunch. Kids can play in the garden whilst you gave a coffee or lunch. Food can be bought from the cabinet or the menu.

This is a nice place to take an outdoor lunch on a Spring or Summer's day. The food is tasty and the service is efficient. The garden surroundings reminded me of a rambling southern English cottage garden and overall it is a cafe worth returning to. The day I visited the whole atmosphere was lifted a notch by the young singer and her guitar providing an unintrusive musical backdrop to the meal.

The Raspberry Cafe is our most favourite cafe in Christchurch! When we visit other cafes, we are always comparing it to the Raspberry Cafe….In terms of meal size, quality, taste and price….The Raspberry Cafe is not just your ordinary cafe…It is an experience, which also includes a meal. The setting is so beautiful, and you can spend an entire afternoon just enjoying the amazing food and surrounding gardens. Children are free to run around the gardens or play in the playground. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish…And on a beautiful warm and sunny day…It is really hard to leave this place:) If you haven't been to the Raspberry Cafe yet, I highly recommend it!!!! You don't know what you are missing!!!!
