We stayed here for 1 night before leaving New Zealand. The hotel is very pleasant, nice and clean and is close to a few restaurants, shops and a bar called Bailies so has a good location. It is a good walk to the city centre if you want to see the earthquake damage, although there is not an awful lot of stuff to see or do there. The city itself is quite sobering to see even this long after the devastation. Staff on the desk were very welcoming and helpful in letting us know what there was to do in the area.

Stayed 2 nights at the start of our 3 week trip around South Island. Host very pleasant and helpful. Room lovely, modern, fresh and clean. Has a washer and dryer in the bathroom, that was a bonus. Every other place we stayed at, either had nothing or charged for the service. Host was also very helpful in suggesting places for us to go. We liked it so much that we booked it for our last night before flying out of Christchurch...Free wifi was also a bonus.
Would definately stay again.

Room Tip: we stayed on ground floor and parked car right in front. upper floor have stair access

Stayed 2 nights in Christchurch in December 2012. We were a group of 7 people and everyone seemed very satisfied with the hotel. It is nice and clean, staff is helpful and friendly and there is a restaurant, pub, supermarket and fast food within walking distance. A walk down to the city center is 20 min away.
No wifi, but the hotel have an ethernet cable in the room. Room was spotless with comfy beds. No complaints what so ever.

As all the previous reviews say Clean and neat Motel with everything you would need.

Free internet - good speed internet, nice host. good clean beds, massive flat screen TV, Laundry in room(which was a great help for us as it was v much needed ), clean shower and kitchenett :-) , Safe neighborhood, We are Indians and it worked best for us a very good Indian restaurant (coriander )one block away literally 1 min walk.

Overall Bang for the buck and more.

Its in a drivable distance from christchurch city center.

we had a good stay and would recommend it

The guy at the desk was helpful and gave a generous amount of allocation for wifi. the room itself even has a plug in for your laptop! Washer and dryer as well. clean reasonably priced as well.Good place to rest before departing. There is no sitting area but there's a dining table for meals.

Areas for improvement:
The shower screen had a gap where water leaked out.

We spent three nights at this hotel and we were thrilled with it. The staff is very helpful and polite, but the best part is the rooms. The rooms are apartment style with a mini fridge, stove top, sink, great bathroom w/ shower and a washer and dryer. The location is pretty nice - there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it was only a ten minute bus ride to the city center. Highly recommend staying here!

Room Tip: Our room was on the main level and faced the parking lot, so we always had our curtains drawn. I wou...

Booked in here for 1 overnight stay before flying home. Lovely large appartment style room, very well equipped with own washing machine & dryer & good cooking facilities. Quiet location. Only minor downside was their were no net curtains & we were looking onto the car park so wasn't private unless the curtains were pulled.
