We had a perfect stay at Jenny's and Bruce's B&B. They are so likeable! :-)

The Otago Peninsula is great: we did kayaking next to a seal, standing next to huge sleeping see lions, watching penguins...

Thank you!

Thank you both for your lovely review of your stay with us. There are certainly lots of things to see and do on the Otago Peninsula and we enjoy sharing our little corner of the world with our guests.
Warm regards,
Jenny and Bruce.

We finished the penguin trip very late and found Callies B&B with coincidence when driving back to city. And we are so lucky since the place is very nice and comfortable room like your own place, Jenny and Bruce are really nice and helpful, treat us as family member, showed us photos and play with lovely Dog - Joey. We chat a lot and they are quite funny people. It is the first B&B during our stay in New Zealand after 8 days and we fall in love with B&B, it make us know the place and people much better than stay in Holiday park. Since we like animals, so we decide to stay in a farmstay B&B for the last night in South NZ. Jenny helped to contact but that farm house was not available. But Jenny, we finally found one on the way to Temuka named Oliver's Farm Stay B&B, also very good. :) And thank you for the recommendation for the Fleur Resturant, very nice place and taste really delicious!

We hope we can have more time to be with Jenny and Bruce, it is really a happy time! So maybe next time come to NZ with our babies. Best wishes to you, Jenny and Bruce.

Spent two nights with Jenny and Bruce, they are wonderful people and the B and B set-up is perfect! The ensuite is separate from the rest of the house, quiet and cozy with a nice TV, bathroom, and beautiful view off a private deck. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast is a generous continental breakfast with homemade breads and all the trimmings. We loved this area, spent one entire day walking the dirt roads of the peninsula. Be sure and look for penguins and albatross. Highly recommended!

We recently had the opportunity to stay on the Otago Peninsula at Callies. This is a wonderful place with fantastic owners. They looked after our every need and took great care to look after all the little extras that made our stay so special.

Highly Recommend!!

What a fabulous place to end our stay in NZ! We had 2 excellent nights at Callies at the end of February, and wished we could have stayed longer. Jenny and Bruce were fantastic hosts, and we were treated like old friends, not visitors. The room was large and very comfortable, the balcony had lovely views of the bay, and breakfasts were excellent. The Otago peninsula was a beautiful, unexpected treat. The only surprise is that Jenny and Bruce do not expect to get the rave reviews they fully merit!! Thoroughly recommended.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Jenny and Bruce's accommodation. The bedroom upstairs is nice and large with a sitting area and also has a balcony. Our hosts recommended some scenic rides (we were on motorbike) and Jenny drove us in her car to Albatross Centre (we did not have enough petrol to get back to town otherwise) Most generous hosts, they even shared their wine with us!! Made our 2 week bike trip around South Island memorable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and a big 'thank you' again to our hosts. From Marco and Caroline, Somerset West, South Africa

Bruce and Jenny were great hosts. Lots of tips on wildlife as Bruce has helped at the Albatross Centre, the breakfast was really good. It was particularly nice that Bruce and Jenny sat with us at breakfast so we could chat at leisure. The bedroom was fine. If Otago was closer to Europe we'd go back like a shot! Stunning countryside, lovely beaches with dozing sea-lions, an entertaining, committed French zoologist at Penguin Place.
