On a wet and blustery spring?? day, our guide Tony took us on a great tour of the Dunedin Peninsula. We saw so much wildlife, too many to name, but the prize goes to the Yellow Eyed Penguins who put on the performance of the day, closely followed by the three Sea Lions playing on the beach, and third was a tie between the fur seals breeding colony and seeing dolphins whilst out on the boat. Felt sorry for the albatross but competition was great.

Wonderful experience of seeing penguins, fur seals, sea ions and albatross. Such a knowledgeable guide who made the whole journey enjoyable, making stops to see unusual wild life on the way. His passion for the endangered species was contagious. Great value too! I felt privileged to have been able to take part.

Our Elm Wildlife Tour was an incredible experience, and a highlight from our trip to the South Island of New Zealand. We were lucky enough to see a number of native animals: an albatross flying overhead, a seal colony with lots of very active and curious pups, a group of sea lions up close and some spectacular blue penguins who passed right by us on their way to nest overnight in the hills. Our tour guide was knowledgable, friendly and clearly very passionate. This is a MUST for anyone visiting Dunedin!
