“Disappointing”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Location promised much but unfortunately the rude, unhelpful staff and poor standard of food in cafe made this a place we decided not to take a tour at. Disappointing.

“So close to the seals”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

There were 4 adults in our group. We all loved it. The views of Otago Penninsula are beautiful but the highlight were the seals. We saw so many and we were so close we could almost touch them, and plenty of them frolicking in the sun. The penguins were a little harder to spot, but our guide Brett was patient and knowledgable. A highlight of our holiday, I would recommend it to anyone!

“Authentic way to see New Zealand wildlife”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

We rode in an 8 wheel all terrain vehicle around the property to view beautiful scenery and wildlife. The owner, Perry, and tour guide were very friendly and knowledgeable and provided a great tour. We were able to see seals from only a few feet away, but only saw penguins from afar. Riding in the all terrain vehicle was a unique opportunity! It was misting the morning we were there, so the property was quite muddy. Although they do provide waterproof jackets, I would recommend wearing shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a few small mud splatters on. Overall it was a great way to see wildlife up close and was a very unique experience!

“We didn't even get to the tour”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

The distinctly cold, abrasive and unacceptable welcome received when we arrived was more than enough to put us off taking a tour. Our questions were answered abruptly and without any hint of willingness. There is no need for such a tourist facility to behave in this way when they need our revenue to continue operating. If they want to close the gate and keep everyone out, then they should do so. Let them concentrate on farming and not trying to provide a visitor attraction.

“beautiful”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Welcomed with a friendly greeting, provided with jackets so our clothes remained clean and then off on a vehicle to experience some breath taking scenery.
We were taken on an 8 wheel drive buggy trek for an hour by Perry Dundee Reid, the owner, a farmer and an avid conservationist. Along with his son and all the boys he used as drivers. We arrived at the same time as a tour bus which set the scene. It was 1 of the best tours we have been on. The knowledge and manners from all these people was outstanding.
Thankyou guy's and the young lady at the desk.
