Service was a bit impersonal. When I asked the receptionist for directions to the train station she did not seem to know it was first turn left. Cleaners very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay as we could walk everywhere.

Location is good. Walking distance to most tourist hot spots. The family unit had ample space all amenties to wash up and repack for further journey. Tv for kids. Wifi that was included. Recommend Nandos restaurant next door! Safe off street parking for car.

Stayed overnight here as a family with 3 young children. Recommend to reserve the private parking beforehand as it is limited. Only NZ12.50 a day. We arrived before 5pm the closing time of the reception . This is important in case you will have difficulty to check in outside office hours. The 2 roomed apartment was adequate for us. The busy noise outside takes some getting used to, so for those who is a light sleeper, better request for a room thats not facing the busy road . Cadbury factory us nearby, so you can pop in fr a quick visit with the kids. The town is also within walkung distance with nandos just next door. Convenient for those who's feeling a bit lazy t cook like me. The famous railway station is also nearby and you can pop in upstairs for the original pieces by their student painters. All in all , a pleasant, short and sweet stay in quest dunedin. Btw, the countdown supermarket us also just next door.

Stayed in this apartment hotel 25 Nov to 05 Dec 13. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to prepare an early check in, as we had flown overnight from Western Australia.
We had a one bedroom apartment, which was furnished quite comfortably and included a washing machine and dryer - what a saving in time that was, especially after a day riding the trails around Dunedin.
Bed was comfortable and roomy and the provided kitchenware all of good standard. The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the Octogon and a 1 minute walk from both (Coles) New World and (Woolworths) Countdown.

Iwill be staying here when I visit Dunedin again and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Dunedin

Great location right opposite the Cadbury factory. Close to city center for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Well appointed, we stayed in 2 bedroom studio -which was essentially 2 separate rooms with a private corridor/entrance to the two. One had washing machine, dryer and dishwasher for free use, detergents supplied. A great asset to the traveller!

Room Tip: One not facing the road, siren noise was very loud

We toured around the south island and have stayed in some different price range accommodations, and this is the best of them all. Mid-range price, centrally located, and the in-room facilities are impeccable. Great staff very friendly and keen to help. Will be back when I visit again!
