Stayed here for one night as it was the best online deal at the time. Everything fine, without any wow factor. Some road noise as room faced main road.

Maybe not, but I have not seen one better.

We stayed in a larger two bedroom unit across a small street from the main complex. Just amazing. Our trip was a stop over en-route to Stewart Island. To have so many comforts to just relax in the room at night made it perfect.

The massive Tele to the spa bath were great additions. Every detail had been thought of in the kitchen. The bed was so comfy I had the best sleep ever.

At risk of raising your expectations to high, I will stop now.

The place is about 15 minutes walk from town. And 5 minutes from Luvlee, a take away with the twist of being home cooked food. Just a note, if you want bubbles to sip in the spa bath, there is no booze in the supermarkets. You have to go to a bottle shop.

We found this motel on our previous trip to New Zealand. Our intial email enquiry was slow to be answered and we were becoming concerned. When the reply did come the reason for the delay was made clear. We happened to have chosen a particularly busy weekend in Invercargill, this motel was full and the owners had been ringing round their competitors to see if they had any vacancies. That is what I call service. By juggling our dates we were able to stay there and very pleased we were that we did. Generous rooms, well equipped and very comfortable. Invercargill was on our itinerary for this trip so there was only one place to stay. They have now put some more single storey units just across the road and they are to the same high standard as those in the main block

We stayed just one night at this motel, and found it to be fine.
Invercargill isn't quite on the top of the list of touristy places in NZ so I had mixed expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the motel and the standard of the nearby shops and restaurants.

Clean, tidy, modern, quiet off the street motel. We booked off the street after being very let down from another motel in invercargill. Owner where more than happy to accoadate us at the last minute, units had plenty of room and would diffentlly stay there again.

We arrived at this motel at about 8:30pm in the rain with no reservation, after a long days driving. Even though we only wanted to stay 1 night we received a warm welcome and the owner even moved bookings so we could get a room on the ground floor and would not have to carry all our luggage upstairs so late on.
Everything was clean and fresh and the price meant it was excellent value.
It is a little out of town without anywhere within walking distance to eat and drink - but then again we didn't see any motels near the town centre.

We had a spacious 2 bedroom ground floor unit that was across a small side side street from the main motel property. I gather this must be the new extension as everything in our unit was modern & new! The bathroom had a whirlpool which was wonderful! Also had all the electronic gadgets in the kitchen that the previous reviewer mentioned, which is not commonplace in NZ motels. For the price we paid, it was excellent value. Highly recommended indeed!
