“Remarkable, spacious, modern, scenic and warm accomodation”
Reviewed 27 October 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Beautiful home in the sunny, quiet Jacks Point sub division. We holidayed with a large group of friends and there was plenty of space for everyone, particularly having the separate apartment style accomodation above the garage to escape to. Totally recommend.

“Stunning luxury lodge style accomodation in perfect location”
Reviewed 30 September 2014 for a stay in February 2014

This is the ideal place to stay if you want to treat yourself, and to experience a quieter side of Queenstown out of the party scene downtown. We stayed here with another couple, with 4 young children between us aged 6 to 11. This enormous, immaculate property had more than enough space for us all to feel as though we weren't in the slightest bit crowded. One family could take the apartment over the 4 car garage if total separation was desirable but we preferred to all stay in the main lodge.

The decor is very upmarket - classic NZ luxury lodge style; local stone and natural materials combined with high end kitchen and bathroom finishes. The owners have thought of everything - it is equipped like a private home! The focus is on the views to the Remarkables -just a few hundred metres away - and across the fields toward Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown itself. It is located only a 10 minute drive from Queenstown, and 5 mins from the Frankston shopping centre and the airport. It is in the Jacks Point area with its famous golf course and country club- which does a killer breakfast! The kids had loads of space to roam outside safely and they played in the excellent local children's playground every day- great flying fox!

The grownups were pretty happy as well- the local wines and vineyards are incredible and sitting on the outdoor deck sipping wine and soaking in the alpine views while the kids ran wild playing in the adjoining fields was blissful.

We were in town for a Marathon in late summer and the scenery was stunning, but if you were there in ski season it would be ideal too as the entry to The Remarkables Skifields is just up the road on the way in to Queenstown. The fireplace in the "Great Hall" and the indoor/ outdoor fireplace on the deck would be lovely in winter too.

Great upmarket accomodation to base yourself for all that Queenstown has to offer and an ideal place for a large family, or two or 3 small families- or a group celebrating a special occasion. We will definitely be back!

“Characterful, charming with and unbelievably beautiful outlook to Lake Wakatipu - Backdropped by the Remarkables”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed here with a group of friends for a winter escape, ski trip and birthday party. We have so many positive things to say about this lovely Jacks Point home and can't recommend this place highly enough if you want to experience a luxury alpine lifestyle.

The living areas and bedroom rooms are spacious and elegant - beautifully fitted out with high quality comfortable decor. The attention to detail was as outstanding.

The house is located in quiet residential neighbourhood in Jack’s Point (one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world), bathed in sunshine all of the day a perfect place to have a few drinks on the deck and watch the sun go down across the mountain range.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Queenstown.

“Fabulous, American-style home”
Reviewed 17 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed at Jack Point's with friends on a recent ski trip. It is a large house, perfectly set up for a sizeable group of people who want to combine the adventurous stuff (bikes, snowboards, etc) and hanging out in the evenings (giant living area, great stereo and kitchen, etc). Everything seemed new and modern and reliable.

Super-handy to the Remarkables, golfing and local walks.

“Superb property & location”
Reviewed 17 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August and loved every minute. Close to the airport and airport shopping area and great for skiing at the Remarkables. Travel time to Cardrona was the same as from Queenstown CBD. Nice walking / running / biking tracks around Jack's Point too, including access to the lake edge track that takes you to Kelvin Heights, around Frankton and into Queenstown.
