Pekorino by far the best, but a very steep price makes indulging a limited experienced. Grab the freshly baked grain bread and treat yourself to a wonderful dinner at home.
The wines were significantly overpriced and too commercial with charges even for wine tasting so we stayed clear.

Hi Mike, Thanks for your review. The Pecorino is our signature cheese so we are super happy that this was your favourite! Our cheeses are slightly more expensive than those commercially available in the supermarkets as ours are handmade and we only use the best ingredients. I am sorry you found the wine to be too expensive, we are a separate company to the winery and we are bound by their pricing. We hope to see you next time you are in Queenstown.
Best wishes, Jen @ GVC

We stopped by with the intention of just to see what cheese are there. The attendants in the shop are very helpful and patient in explaining the selection of cheese and we decided to stay to try out their platters. We could choose from a few cheese and what condiments we want in the cheese platters.
I would certainly recommend the smoked sheep milk cheese, they are very flavorful.
The platter arrived like a piece of art decoration, very beautifully done up. We also has a mini pizza style bread. It was great with the cheese melting and chunky chorizos. It looks very beautiful done up as well.
For wine, I went for the pinot gris to go with platter. The wine is nice but not great.
Besides cheese, they also have abig assortment of deeps and olive oils and garnish and jams. Abit tourist.

I would recommend this place as a pit stop for some quick bite, price is abit on the expensive side.

There were only 4 choices of cheese to pick from and they were rather bland. Highly over priced cheese platter with 9 olives as an extra for $3 price gouging much!

Hi there, I am sorry you felt like we weren't good value for money, we are priced slightly higher than cheese available in the supermarket etc as a lot of work, care and time goes into producing our handmade cheeses. The cheese available for the three cheeseboard selection can be chosen from pretty much our whole range (bar two or three varieties), I am sorry that this wasn't made clear when you were ordering. As for the olives I apologise that there were not many in your selection, this was clearly an oversight on our part and had you let us know at the time we would have been more than happy to rectify this for you. I hope that you will stop in again next time you are in the region and we can show you that we do have delicious cheeses! Thank you for your review, we value all customer feedback. Kind regards, Jen

Shared a cheese platter with some friends, with a beer, and a sheeps' milk-milkshake. Very good stuff all round. Pleasant surroundings, knowledgeable staff, great (and interesting!) cheese. A good lunch choice if you like cheese!

We stopped here on a whim on our way to Queenstown. Sampled some of their cheeses which were very nice but a little pricey.

We shared a warm cheese & chorizo baguette which was scrumptious and delicious, and for $10 the price was fair too. The view from the outside seating area is spectacular and it made for a great lunch stop. They sell plenty of artisan food stuffs too.
