First thing first, the motel host Vanessa is very friendly and helpful. She greeted us with smiles and most importantly make us feel welcoming. She also provided us with map of queenstown, showed us which route is quicker to town and listed out all the best restaurants that she recommended us to try. And also which to avoid. Could have ask for a better service. As for the room, it is clean and very nice. Lots of different tv channels to choose from, free wifi. What more can you ask for. And location to the town is a plus. Would definitely return to this pleasant motel and beautiful country. Cheers.

We arrived in Queenstown late in the day so chose this motel out of the "host accomodation" booklet and were not disappointed. The decor and facilities were excellent but we did find the queensize bed a little small for us but we were only staying one night so it didn't matter. It is an easy walk down to the centre of town although good excercise walking back up the hill. The owners were very friendly and helpful - love the car collection in the office!!

Stayed in the alpha wing with my friend. We were offered a newer room, but due to my friend & his snoring problem, we opted for the older room. Beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities were ideal for what we required. Washing facilities were a godsend for me & very reasonably priced too. Found the staff to be super friendly. Looking forward to going back on my next NZ visit.

I stayed at the QMA on 3rd June and i have also previously stayed at QMA and i just wanted to comment that I would have no hessitation in recommending QMA to anyone for business or pleasure.

The rooms are modern, clean and have all the amenities you would require. The rooms are quiet so a good nights sleep is guaranteed which is really important but above all the service levels are outstanding.

There is always a freindly greeting and the Team are great with local recommendations for dining out etc which is really important if you are not familiar with Queenstown.

I stayed with my elderly mother for 3 nights in May 2014. Diane gave us a very warm welcome. Excellent location. Very comfortable studio unit with a high standard of facilities. Diane was a mind of information, recommending places to eat in Queenstown and advising us on a full day's trip to Milford Sound where we were collected from outside the accomadation.
Would certainly recommend this motel to family and friends who may travel to Queenstown.

Our stay in the so called apartments was interesting.....firstly this is not a first world apartment....no soap, shampoo or seating. The "lounge" with a great view, has beds and dining table but no comfortable seating. The bedroom is ok but basic as is the "kitchen"...2 elements and a microwave. The bathroom needs desperately updating with a door going into a loo space which you really have to negotiate! One of our crew got stuck in the bathroom because the door became jammed! After meeting fellow guests in a next door apartment we were rudely told to retire at 11pm because the management had work the next day!We moved on to a friendly Queenstown apartment and were quite frankly appalled by our treatment from management at this establishment.

To all potential future customers:

Unfortunately we were not a suitable place for these people.
They expected to be able to party up, prepare, cook dinner and host 17 people celebrating a birthday in a unit that accommodates 5 people!

It was almost midnight and raining heavily on a Sunday night, they were drunk, obnoxious, disruptive to our other guests and disrespectful to our management staff. Subsequently they were asked to leave and the police were contacted but not immediately available. Whilst packing their belongings they told me they had no car, nowhere to go and as I mentioned earlier it was raining heavily. I took pity on them, cancelled the police call out and allowed them to stay until the morning when they were evicted and refunded their money for the remainder of their booking.

Please note that we will continue to uphold our "No noise, No visitors after 10pm" policy and act accordingly regardless of threats of "legal action" and "negative reviews" such as this one.

Stayed at QMA on the 13th-14th & then 16th-17th of April. Our first two days were in the new wing (Room 8). Completely blown away by the fantastic , modern furnishings, not to mention immaculate.
We had booked two different rooms for the two days but our hosts arranged for us to stay on in the same room so that we didn't have to move :) Thank you.
The next two days were in the Alpha wing (Room 22) . We were quite apprehensive about the Alpha wing based on the reviews we had read. Yes, the room is worn out (vis-a-vis the new wing) but they are clean, well-kept and the what the room lacks in appearance is made up for by the view.
There is nothing amiss from what is mentioned in the hotel website about the amenities provided, the location.
Thank you for a warm welcome and making our stay comfortable. QMA will definitely be our choice of stay when we return and one we'll recommend to anyone visiting.
