Having arranged our stay purely by searching online, my breath was taken away when we actually arrived at this fantastic location. Our hosts Graham and Sue certainly have an eye for detail, and made sure absolutely all our needs were catered for during the time of our stay. They were also most helpful in assisting us with many arrangements for our wedding, which was held at Canyons Lodge. The rooms, view, service and facilities are most simply described as Premium Quality throughout. You will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at the Canyons Lodge. Beautiful spot, fabulous view, very comfy rooms and spacious garden and very helpful and kind owners. Great place to relax and good vantage point to discover Queenstown and surroundings (food, wineries, fishing, skiing, walking etc....).

We stayed at the Lodge for 10 days with our family and friends and what a location! The views were breathtaking, the surrounds quite (apart from the jet boats!) and the lodge was immaculate. Our casual, cocktail style wedding which took part on the expanding deck was everything we hoped it would be. The owners of the lodge couldnt have been more helpful and welcoming. To top our stay we were lucky enough to experience a 20cm spring snow fall. An experience that we will never forget :)

A truly unique site, elevated above the famed Shotover River. Accommodation with a true Lodge feel in a cosy warm atmosphere. Peaceful setting to walk or just relax and soak up the views. To taste that dry mountain air and feel at home in such a beautiful Lodge - is hard to beat. My wife and I totally enjoyed our 3 nights and Sue & Graham's hosting fits perfect with the warmth and excellence of the Lodge and its surrounds. Can't wait to get time to return. A must for those of you who want something special and still only a stone’s throw from all the action.

Stunning lodge with lots of rooms for a group / family travelling together.

Location was breathtaking over the Shotover River and was in great location with easy access to Queenstown and Coronet Peak for skiing.

Self cater lodge with everything you could ask for
