This hotel is probably the closed accommodation to the Coronet Peak Skifield and has a resturant, bar, sauna, gym, and a room to store our skis. It comes with way more including a really hot spa pool and Bowling Alley! The staff were amazing, hard-working, really accommodating and helpful. We had a three bed room which was convienent for our trio and the rooms were really well priced. Only one downside (that our group still laughs about) is that the shower curtain was an inch too short (I think it was ripped off by a previous guest). This meant the bathroom ended up a bit wetter than usual. Other than that we had a fantastic stay and are looking forward to returning in August.

This hotel is very close to Coronet Peak ski fields and so it is fantasic if you plan to ski everyday. The hotel is however very tired and in desperate need of repair and decorating. It had snowed when we stayed and it took the staff 3 days to put some grit on the very slippy car park and around the dangerously slippy entrances. We had several school groups staying on our floor which also made it noisy and sometimes smokey!! But in saying that it was very reasonably priced, handy for the slopes and the rooms were warm and clean.

We stayed at this hotel during a quiet time for the hotel on a visit involving volunteering at the NZPGA Pro Am tournament at The Hills. The room had plenty of space (queen plus single bed) and was comfortable - great shower. Cooked breakfast was included, on several occasions specifically cooked for us when the breakfast bar wasn't operating. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good for us being on the way to Arrowtown and as we had our own car we didn't need to use the shuttle they provide to go to Queenstown. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the bowling coupons which were included. Hopefully we will be back next year for the same tournament.

Stayed here for two nights when we were visiting Queenstown.

We brought one night over wotif.com, which was the "Bed, Breakfast and Bowling special for $99!! This rate included the room with one Queen and one Single bed, Full cooked breakfast per person and two games of bowling per person.

We were very happy with the service we received, all the staff were tentative to our needs and also wanted to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

The bowling, two games per person per night was awesome fun, also the guy looking after the place there was great!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, not brand new but well looked after. We both had two very good nights of sleep and re booked a second night over the counter where they happily matched the online offer rate!!

They also offer a complementary shuttle into town and back to the hotel as it's about 10 minutes drive out of Queenstown, this is listed at set times but they are also happy to accommodate requests for other drop offs/pick ups which was very handy and much appreciated.

Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful stay in the Queenstown area, will definitely stay again in the future and recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Our room was well appointed, comfortable and clean, also quite spacious.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 days and extended to 7 days, because I really enjoyed the stay there. There are a lot of facilities, like the bowling center, a spa (whirlpool and sauna), a outdoor pool and volleyball. A big parking space is located in front of the hotel and as a guest, you can use it for free. The stuff was very friendly and helped me with all questions I had. The room was very big and clean. There is also a restaurant and a snack bar in the hotel. The distance to the shotover jet is just 1.6 km and to the maintown it's about 6 km - a quick drive. I like to stay in the nature and have just a short way to the city, if I like to go there. I could sleep very well in the hotel and had a nice stay. The sauna could be a little bit hotter - but that's all I can complain.

Room Tip: I was in 308 and the room was ok. It's on the second floor direction to the street.

Website made the place look very nice, but the reality was very different. Old decor and old tv, the staff wouldn't book us a restaurant reservation in town because they had a restaurant on site. They did provide a room for us to lock up our bikes though and the wine in the bar was nice! We paid the same as we would have at the Copthorne in Queenstown (was fully booked) and the Copthorne was far superior in standard. Won't be staying again - the drive back and forward to queenstown is a pain and the hotel shuttle finished at 10pm.

we stayed here a couple weeks ago and enjoy it.
The rooms are large, good heater, good size TV, electric blankets.
as to some other reviews, we didn't have a issue with our door or service. We did do our research before we stayed for location etc for the city etc, also we have been told if you did buy a ticket to the snow fields they WOULD pick you up the front of this hotel (but as we had a car we didn't use it, this was stated from someone who worked for Coronet Peak Ski Field)
we used the strike bowling in the hotel which was great.
The price was right (we paid $90NZD per night). Gave as more money to spend on other things!
