A most enjoyable round of golf most memorable for the location and views on most holes. The greens were good. Fairways a bit ordinary but design and outlook was first class. There are some great holes and some average holes but overall a worthwhile visit. Matt the pro shop attendant was friendly and accommodating. We booked carts and clubs for a conference group and everything was ready and waiting. The course is open in winter when a lot of the other local courses are covered in snow.

All I can say is that regardless of your golfing ability the surrounds, landscape and layout of the course make this a great day out even in winter. We played on a Monday and there was only about 8 people on the course... (great for the odd Mulligan!). I would recommend getting an electric cart. The hire clubs were excellent quality - Taylor Made.

Do yourself a favour and get over there. Nice little spot to see out a bit more of the sun before it nestles behind the mountains each day. Great array of brews and some excellent homemade pies - and not all as you maybe would expect !

A bit of time to fill in so my son and I decided to put in 9 holes at Kelvin Heights. Not cheap - $155 for green fees, club hire and half a dozen balls. But the views. I don't think Greg Norman will claim this course. But the views. The ground was a bit soggy. But the views. There are plenty of hills and you might want to spend the money to get a cart. But the views. Geddit? Spend the money, forget the golf and look at the views.

I love this course, having played here a few times I never take the views for granted, it's a challenging course and if you're not up for a walk you better grab a cart as it is very hilly and demanding, the course has 4 par 5's and 4 par 3's, my favorites are the 4th and the 10th.
