Stayed for three nights, all staff were very friendly and helpful! Nice big room, two queen beds and kept very clean each day. A nice 10 minute walk into town each day, bit of a hill on the way back, which I knew all about when I booked, but need the exercise to try and work some of the food off! Loved Queenstown! Went to do bungy, zip ride and skippers canyon jet boat ride and skyline gondola! Definitely Queenstown is a must visit. Lots of places to eat! Would recommend this hotel for a reasonable price but with wonderful views!

Stayed for the first 3 nights of our trip and was a good base to enjoy Queenstown and surrounding areas. Found all staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel room was quiet, good size, very clean and comfortable and had a lovely large bed. We were on the ground floor so our view of the lake and mountains was a little restricted but nice all the same, unfortunately there were no chairs to use the good sized patio. Walk into Queenstown takes about 10 mins if going direct, perhaps a little longer back as its up hill. We chose to walk down to the lake and in via the parkland rather than the road way which takes a little longer (approx 2k) but has fantastic views. No free wifi but few places have.
Would return- in fact tried to for the last 2 nights of our trip but the cost via various internet booking sites for 2 nights was more than we had previously paid for 3 and when contacting the hotel directly they advised they had no rooms available and do not have access to those that are allocated onto the Internet????

All hotels that have parking are up the hill, but this one is starting to get pretty far away (especially if you have any luggage). The hotel was very nice and the staff was helpful but there are other hotels of equal quality a little closer.

We loved this hotel because the roomette was big - good size bedroom and tiny kitchenette, it was more than we needed lots of space to put bags etc. but most of all we loved the balcony and the view of the lake and mountains. It also helped that it was maybe a 10 min walk downhill to the town centre. The staff was helpful, assisted us with confirmation of day trips etc. and overall all staff was pleasant. Great place to stay. We had a ground floor apartment it was not noisy. We had a king size bed which we truly enjoyed.

The ground floor rooms have a view of the road and the motel across the road. The upper floor rooms do have a view of the lake, with a balcony. The rooms are large and nice.

For each day, they give you 20 minutes of free wifi, or 20mb, which means that you may get to stay on the internet for less than 10 minutes. Other motels in New Zealand give unlimited or almost unlimited wifi.

The hotel caters mainly to tour groups. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers available for guests, at a cost of $3 for each.

We were lucky enough to get a top floor apartment here during our coach tour of the South Island. And even more so as we stayed for 2 nights here. Judging by comments from others on the tour all the accommodation was excellent. Ours had 2 double bedrooms and was on 2 floors. Both floors had balconies overlooking the beautiful lake. The food here is first class.

And Queenstown is a very beautiful place.

Room Tip: I guess our room was one of the more expensive but as it was booked part of the coach tour we had no...

We got a mystery deal for this room and it turned out to be the most disappointing mystery deal we have ever experienced. The seats in the outside area were falling apart and could not be used, there was no mini bar even though the brochures indicated there should be, the windows are facing a busy road and are not double-glazed so it's noisy, the decor looks very dated and the free internet is extremely limited.

Room Tip: Stay at the Millenium around the corner. The rooms are similar priced and it is much better.
