We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite and decided that we could easily live there (if we didn't have the dog!)
Kitchenette was fully kited out with everything we needed. Was surprised that there was a full laundry as well.
Full sized bathroom with separate shower & bath. Supplied toiletries, which were re-stocked each say, were great. They even supply a bag for you to take home the ones you haven't used! These were not the normal 'branded' toiletries but a quality NZ brand.
Parking was included and was underground & secure. Suspect this would fill up very quickly in peak winter season as there aren't that many available but there is off-street parking.
We were on level 2 of 3 with limited lake view from bedroom balcony and full view from dining room/lounge over roof tops.
Easy walk to town but bit of a walk uphill to return.
Ordered 2 room service items which both arrived quickly, hot & fresh. Compared to dining options in town it was very cost effective as well.
Furnishings in suite were modern and in excellent condition.
Pros: Everything including a pillow menu which I've only ever experienced with 5-star accommodation options in the past. OH, and the shower.... A-MA-ZING water pressure!
Cons: Bed was a little soft but this is personal preference
Would absolutely stay again

Room Tip: Pre-book carpark in peak winter season and request lake view

Well located place, feels almost like a hospital navigating the maze of corridoor's however once you reach your room it is well worth it! Rooms are big with great amenities, I was a huge fan of the toiletries on offer, but that may be a girl thing! Everything you could need was in the room and it was a very comfortable stay. Hotel has lots of information for would be snow bunnies and is close enough to everything in town to make life very easy. Only thing lacking is parking but I think that's true of most places in Queenstown. Good stay.

Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Perfect location. The view from the cube of glass that is is the dining area are breathtaking, we didn't want to go out. We were lucky to stay on the top floor. We had views to the Gondola, The Remarkables and down to the lake. Yes it is a steep walk the last little bit up the hill, but bearable. We want to go back and stay for a week. ( We had 4 days )

Room Tip: Choose a high floor with views, it is worth it to pay more.

We - my husband and I - recently stayed at Scenic Suites for three nights when visiting Queenstown. The room/suite was large, modern and clean and had all the things you need to be comfortable. I highly recommend this place - especially if staying more than one night - as you are able to cook/make breakfast and wash your clothes if needed. The only negative thing I have to say about the place was some of the staff members at reception. We were told that we could check in at 2 pm - we checked with them when we arrived in the morning - but when returning to the hotel at 2.30 pm the room was still not ready. I am aware that these things at times happen and that hotels get busy. However the young girls at reception handled the situation poorly and offered no alternative. They did apologise but I have stayed at many other hotels around the world where a drink etc has been offered while waiting - or late chekout. When asking to use the Internet while waiting a young girl at reception was going to charge me but luckily changed her mind - maybe this staff member could tell that my level of frustration was rising! Also you have to pay for wifi - why not charge a little extra for the room and offer customers free wifi? Apart from this we had an excellent stay.

We had a very comfortable, spacious, clean and well-equipped double room - two double beds, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, drying rack and hair dryer. The location is very good - only about five minutes walk from the centre of Queenstown, though bear in mind that it is a very steep hill back up to the hotel from town! The underground car park is free and seemed secure, so that was a good additional feature. A criticism of the hotel would that our room shared a doorway from the corridor with one other room, which was disturbing when they came in after we'd gone to bed, as we could hear that door opening and closing outside our main room door. Also perhaps there should be free wifi given the price of the rooms? But overall we were very happy with our stay!

We travelled with friends for Christmas and spent 1 week at the Scenic Suites in a 2 Bedroom apartment. We have an amazing view over the town to Lake Waktipu and the Remarkables. Apartments were well equipped for self catering, modern furnishings and a washer/dryer was very handy. We had a few hot days and the apartments were extremely hot with no air conditioning but there was a portable fan available. Our room was on a corner closest to the main road which was quite noisy when we opened the doors to try and cool the apartment. Staff were welcoming and helpful, they even offered to bring our groceries up to the room for us from the free underground parking. I felt this was great Customer Service and going the extra mile. It was a short walk downhill to the town centre.

The staff were friendly. The suite was great with a lake view. The hotel has paid internet, and I would have liked free wifi internet instead. No air conditioning but we didn't seem to need it. Well located. Free underground parking. As we were there for a few days the full kitchen, washer/drier and dishwasher were very useful. It was a good place to get refreshed and relaxed at the end of a long day. We booked directly through the hotel and Paulo reserved a great room for us which really made our stay in Queenstown the highlight of our vacation. Thanks Paulo!
