I cant wait to go back to Mercure Resort Queenstown. Lovely place to stay. My fiance and myself were warmly greeted, and our room was amazing. (Bathroom a little dated but very functional) The room was very spacious, had the choice of a King or Queen bed (This was the Deluxe Suite With Balcony) The views from the balcony were spectacular and we felt like we were in our own little paradise!! The breakfast both mornings was wonderful and had many choices. We dined in the restaurant and cant fault the meal or service, it was just lovely. The amenities were all of a great standard and the pool area was very inviting indeed. I would definately recommend this accomodation to anyone. Top marks from me!!

What an amazing resort. My fiance and myself stayed there recently for a weekend in the deluxe executive suite and were amazed with size of the room, the view from the balcony was spectacular (also got told this was the only room with a balcony). Bed was awesome to sleep in, had choice of king and queen. Thought the bathroom was a tad dated, doors looked bit worn. but overall pretty good. Had a romantic dinner in their resturant, which I cannot say a bad word about (reasonably priced especially for being in Queenstown). Buffett breakfast I thought was really great and value for money. Amenties (pool etc) looked amazing. The staff were brilliant from when we arrived until we left. Will definately stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We paid for an upgrade to a superior room which had lake views. Room was very clean and spacious, but had an old bathroom and furnishings. Definately in need of an upgrade, but then, it was cheaper to stay than the other Accor hotels, and the money we saved was put to other use on our holiday. Bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was only ok, nothing the rave about. We ate dinner there on the 3 nights and found the food and service to be very good. Great lake views from the dining room.

Room Tip: Pay for an upgrade to get lake views

Positive friendly staff.
Room - reasonable size but bed a bit saggy (new mattress required) and bathroom looked very tired indeed.
Restaurant menu looked unexciting so we went into town both nights.
Breakfast - usual very average buffet breakfast of a larger hotel. Nothing freshly cooked. We also could not find a space the first day due to be overwhelmed by a coach party...
Wi fi is ok but 30 mins/8mb is a little mean.
Views from breakfast room were great but it is a brisk walk to town. I made it 6 times in two days - the 3 downhill were fine but the 3 uphill a little more exertion required. It is a good 20 mins although there are buses.
Overall ok, but doesn't stand out
