Nice large rooms, no cooling/air con just heating which became an issue.
Great bathroom amenities but poor water pressure.
Don't get a room in level 7 as you have to take Stairs!!
Great hospitality otherwise and staff were willing to go the extra mile

The hotel's location makes the view from the dining room and bar simply breathtaking. We found the staff extremely helpful and professional, and they were happy to accommodate even the smallest request. The proximity to the centre of Queenstown is great, a five minute walk has you in the middle of the town with a wonderful array of shopping and eating options. Other hotels of a similar class may be slightly more central, but the location of the St. Moritz gives such a magnificent vista from the lake-view rooms that I think it more than makes up for the short walk. The hotel facilities are good, and the rooms are a reasonable size and clean. A good place to stay, we will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view, it'll be well worth it!

Thank you sincerely for your commendations, one never tires of our view - in fact we do have a web-cam on our roof to ensure even if you're not in Queenstown, you can watch the changes in weather and light on the mountains from afar. This can be accessed via our St Moritz website.

Good size room. Tub with shower ensuite. Clean room. Heat was not working. We complained to management and they brought up a very small heater. At this time it was late and didn't want to pack up everything for one night so didn't push moving to another room, however they didn't suggest it either. When we told front staff about in morning, they said ok will tell management about, but that doesn't really help you. That was pretty much it, not really a good apology or any token compensation.

Good location for walking to downtown area. Slight hill on way up to hotel, but nothing difficult.

Concierge was terrific. He called winery we were interested in, offered constant help, etc.

If wasn't for heat issue would have given higher marks.

We had a lovely break away from home at the St. Moritz in Queenstown. The service was great and the staff friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a wood fired pizza one evening and a lovely 3course meal on another evening. The happy hour is good value and the view form the restaurant are the best. This hotel is very close to town and all the action.

Arrived after long journey from US...wonderful front desk and wait staff ....the most comfortable bed ever...great food and the view from the dining room was delightful....would definetly return to this property...it was worth the walk up the hill!
