Usually I stay at Peppers next door, but thought I would try out Moritz. We had a suite with separate room which could be closed off from the lounge. Two TV's lots of seating & a view of the lake. Lovely, warm & inviting. The only down side is the treck up the hill at night back to the hotel after going out. It is steep! Reception & Car people very good service, breakfasts are average same thing 5 days in a row.

Good Morning

Firstly thank you for choosing to stay with us, and for providing feedback - it is valued and appreciated.

We do acknowledge that Brunswick Street does provide a brief moment of unexpected exercise; however, our location does afford us our amazing lake views. We hope we have the opportunity to extend the warmest of welcomes on your next visit to Queenstown.

Sincere thanks
Lynne

I was a little disappointed initially at the location of this property but the generous happy welcome by the staff at reception soon put my disappointment to rest.
We had a 1 bedroomed suite, very nicely appointed, a view ( only just ) lovely décor .
Getting back to the location, if you were elderly or had mobility issues ( which we don't ) getting up and down the hill could be an issue. It was fine by us ( Only steep for about 100 M. )Helped work off the delicious food we just had to have.

Room Tip: Strange set up. Reception is on the 5th floor, car parking is on the 3rd floor. The views in Queensto...

Great hotel, views and best of all the friendly staff who were there when needed. Highly recommended. We would stay there again.
Make sure you ask for the rooms facing the lake. Queenstown really worth the visit. Hope that is now 200 characters. Obviously not quiet.

Stayed for two nights in a Lakeview Suite. Booked and paid in advance for two adults and a child and chose the suite to utilise the sofa bed. Was advised on check in that there would be an extra charge for the sofa bed to be made up. I disputed this and the matter was promptly rectified. We did need to call housekeeping to remind them to make up the bed - but again this was very quickly sorted. The beds were the finest in NZ! My husband and I enjoyed the television in the bedroom while our son slept on the sofa. The bathroom and bath were massive. We also made good use of the washer/dryer and the kitchenette. Could not find the ipod dock though?
The location is very handy to the township however the hotel is on a very steep walk.

I spent two very enjoyable nights in this hotel recently. First impressions were good when we entered the hotel as it was warm and we were made very welcome by Reception. The room was not ready but we spent a pleasant half hour in the bar area looking at the magnificent views over the lake and stunning mountains. Our room was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities, an excellent, modern bathroom and again a view that you could not drag yourself away from. The situation of the hotel is convenient to the town centre. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and am already looking forward to making a return visit.

Room Tip: Probably a good idea to book well in advance for a lakeside view room

One of the best hotels i have been to in terms of the view outside the window! Breathtaking view of the Wakatipu lake from your balcony. A short walk away is the Queenstown skyline gondola and the main shopping street of Queenstown. The reception staff very courteous and extremely helpful. Very neat and clean hotel. If you have the money, please do the Memorable Moment(A private heli picnic on top of the alpine mountains!) that this hotel provides. Great place to stay for couples. The hot tub garden is excellent as well.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the lake on higher floors have a wonderful view of the lake and the alpine mountains.
