“Spectacular”
Reviewed 21 November 2013

Great venue and close to Queenstown centre. Louise proved to be a great host with excellent knowledge of the area. Her attention to detail was very professional and drinks and nibbles on the balcony overlooking the spectacular view was to die for. A fantastic boutique hotel.

We flew over to Queenstown (from Sydney) for a 60th B'day and we couldn't have stayed in a more perfect B&B. Firstly, the hospitality and service is second to none, nothing is a problem even ordering a pizza for us when we decided to say in. The staff also worked behind the scenes (via email with our daughter) to arrange a surprise Wine Tasting tour. Evening drinks and breakfast are welcoming and delicious. Our fabulous one bedroom suite looked over the Queenstown centre,Lake Wakaitipu and up to Walter Peak - amazing scenery. Also our suite had a well equipped kitchen, Log fire (gas) very comfortable lounge and dining areas even the bed was a dream. You are really able to relax and enjoy the ambience of Queenstown. We will definitely be back and thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Excellent location, friendly and knowledgable staff, amazing breakfast and all served with a fantastic view. Couldn't recommend it enough. We had a great room with a view out to the lake and by the time we had enjoyed breakfast every morning we were struggling to b hungry for lunch.

We were in Queenstown for a meeting and decided to stay at Queenstown House because of the great location, only a 3-5 minute walk to the center of town. The views were better than expected, looking out over Lake Wakaitipu. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a huge lounge and kitchen, gas fire - just like home. The perfect place we've already booked again for our next trip in November.

Room Tip: Go for a room with views over the lake, postcard perfect, great way to wake up in the morning.

Great rooms, social area, hospitality and food. It was a 5min walk to the restaurants and bars which was ideal. It also snowed when we were there which was amazing. Will certainly be back to stay when I'm next in Queenstown!

Great place to stay in Queenstown, close to town (5 minute walk), warm rooms & amazing breakfast (I had the Eggs Benedict)! Highly recommend staying here if visiting Queenstown, Central Otago or en route to Wanaka.

We enjoyed to hospitality of the host Louise who made you extremely welcome. The Breakfast room overlooking the lake with an excellent cooked breakfast was a great start to the day. We were particularly pleased with the size of the villa we stayed in again with lake views and a cosy stone fireplace. An added bonus is the 2min walk into town, no need to worry about finding a park.

Room Tip: The villas are fantastic for a family with plenty of space to spread out.
