The Dairy is in a quiet location a few blocks away from the lake. It is an easy walk down to the hustle bustle of the lakefront, but a quiet getaway when you return.

Paul, one of the proprietors, provided superior service and advice on what to see in Queenstown.
the hot scones and tea in the afternoon war a great touch and the breakfast is fantastic.
We would highly recommend.

This is one of the best run hotels we have ever stayed in . Paul and Matt were the most wonderful hosts and made our stay so relaxing , Breakfast is delicious and afternoon tea a won
derful treat. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Queenstown.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the mountains which are slightly cheaper than the lake view but was very comfortable and well furnished.

After racing around New Zealand, it was so wonderful to take a moment to breathe and relax and the Dairy was exactly the place to do this. Paul and Matt make you feel so welcome and at home in this beautiful boutique hotel. Although breakfast is served from 7.30am usually, they kindly offered to serve me from 7.00am so that i could eat before i left for my flight - this to me is outstanding service and not found at many places throughout the world, so thank you both for this. I also had the best night's sleep in the huge and very comfortable bed and enjoyed the Molton Brown products and big fluffy towels in the bathroom. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel anyone and especially to the more discerning traveller.

From the moment we arrived Paul and Matt made us feel very welcomed and comfortable to enjoy The Dairy and all the nice touches on offer including a well stocked honesty bar, comfortable lounge area and library with a great view of the snow capped mountain outside.

Our room had a breath taking view of the mountains which you could see first thing in the morning from bed - well worth booking a room with a view. The room was small but very tastefully decorated (as was the entire hotel) and the bed was soft as a cloud. The nice touches were the lovely afternoon teas and cooked breakfast but the best part was the faultless customer service, nothing was too much trouble and Matt and Paul were more than happy to share their local knowledge and help you enjoy your stay. They are exceptional hosts and clearly passionate about what they do and an enthusiasm for everything Queenstown has to offer. After four busy days on the go and driving around Milford and Queenstown surrounds, it was a wonderful and relaxed ending to our holiday and would love to return one day!

We stayed here on our wedding night and wished we had booked in for longer! Everything was perfect; from the luxurious room (loved the Molton Brown products), delicious breakfast and exceptional service. One of the best, if not THE BEST, places to stay in Queenstown.
