Newly renovated apartments. Cleaned every morning. Location was 2nd to none. Perfect for a nice quick stroll into town but still gave us that privacy we wanted. The lady on reception was a huge help. I Think her name was Faye! She not only sorted us out with our accommodation, but helped us to plan our social itinerary for our holiday. Her advice and local knowledge were spot on and really contributed to us enjoying our trip. I will be coming straight back to 'Autoline' Queenstown but next time in summer for more fun times!

We came across the motel by accident and I am glad that we did. It appears to be associated with Chalet Queenstown which is across the road (and where we had to go to check-in). Chalet Queenstown is a quite well known accommodation house in Queenstown. The rooms were a good size and as the motel is new, the facilities were top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel had a guest laundry on an honour system. Internet was free. Paking was OK although required a bit of manouvering at times.
The motel was a fair walk to town, so it was not too close to be caught up in the tourist hype of the place but close enough to go to restaurants. Good value for money - especially in Queenstown.

We stayed at the Autoline Motel in early February. It was as others described. Great location just a short walk to the botanical gardens and to grocery store in town. We had a room on the top floor and would recommend specifing that. There is as stated a sliding door opening to a patio with great views which was a highlight for us..Nice to come back to the room and sit on the patio after a day of sightseeing and watch the road traffic. We saw a great variety of vehicles. Then in the evening the sunset. Very interesting introduction to New Zealand. Even though the road is busy the room is not noisy. Would certainly come back again.

Room Tip: Recommend a room on top floor.

Loved the location - easy to find when we drove into town, and I felt very safe when I jogged from the motel before daylight the morning after our first night's stay. Loved the layout of the room - sliding glass door entrance/exit along with a back door entrance/exit. Loved the view - of the lake (or whatever body of water I was enjoying) on one side and the mountains on the other (watched several paragliders from the back patio and watched the beautiful full moon setting behind the mountains early in the morning). Loved the comfortable queen-size bed - what's not to love about a comfortable, clean queen-size bed? Loved the clothes line in the back yard. Parking spaces are a little funky, but certainly manageable. The Autoline Motel was "icing on the cake" for a fabulous Queenstown visit, and I would definitely recommend it.

This motel is ideally sited 5 minutes walk into the township and botanical gardens. Transport to and from the Airport by Connectorbus @ $8 each way leaves from 20 metres from the front door each 15 - 20 minutes. The Manager Alex is really helpful and has a great personality. The site has magnificent mountain views for a fraction of the cost of nearby accommodation

We drove up and were greeted oh so nicely. We got to our room, and although small it was all we needed. The rooms are very modern and the bathrooms are very clean with an amazing shower.

It is about a 10 min walk into town and it's a pretty easy walk. The sleep was very quiet and we didn't hear much noise.

The only complaint I have is that the bed was very very soft. It pretty much sank. Other than that for the price you pay, this place gets a 4, with a better bed it would have been a 5!

A modern motel room, good kitchen and bathroom - even a TV in the bathroom! Nice balcony with views over mountain and lake. It was only a 10 minute walk into town along the road, down the hill , or a more leisurely walk along the lakeside. A failry quiet location being a little away from the main town but easy to get to from the airport.
The only thing we didn't like was a number of 'notices' such as 'don't cook fish in this unit' - it made us feel like teenagers on a camp-site!

Room Tip: go for the lake view rooms on upper floors - I think the lower floor rooms would be quite dark with...
