More boutique hotel than B&B, this was a delightful place to stay, clean and modern, within easy reach of Queenstowns attractions. Alex and John were great hosts, offer a good breakfast, and I defy anyone not to fall in love with Louis and Monty, the resident pooches. Rooms were really well appointed, though not all look over the lake, ask for Room 5 if you want a really stunning view.

The location of Chalet Queenstown is within walking distance of the town. It is a bright and sunny place with a great view even from our smallish room with a balcony. Alex is the epitomy of Kiwi hospitality and if I didn't stay here I would stay at his other B&B, The Stone House.

We stayed for two nights at this comfortable chalet! Just a short drive to a grocery store and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the downtown area. Queenstown is the adrenaline capital of South Island! We had a king size bed in a comfortable room with deck. The room has tea and coffee making facilities and has small frig. The continental breakfasts are quite good, featuring a good selection of foods! Our host was quite accommodating in serving us breakfast at 7:15, for our coach excursion to Milford Sound! Amazing and spectacular area and a must do! A very enjoyable stay!

We stayed there for 2 nights and though it an excellent hotel.
The room seemed a little on the small side, probably because the bed was so large and comfortable.
Spotlessly clean thoughout.
The host, Alex, was always friendly and helpful. Good breakfast

Friendly & down to earth host Alex with his trademark laugh....made us welcome at Chalet Queenstown.

Very clean chalet, lovely rooms and views to die for - our room had views over the lake & the Remarkables and towards Bobs peak. The balcony had table and chairs for each room, lovely to sit out with some wine watching the sun set over stunning views.

Good sized room with comfy bed and bathroom - the furnishings were done to a high standard but the bathroom was quite small. The tv had limited channels to view.

Free wifi is a plus :)

The room did lack storage though and maybe an extra shelf for personal items.

Room had it's own fridge and tea/coffee facilities.

Free on site parking too.

Breakfast was a variety of cereal, fresh fruit or toast.

The grounds were well kept and the 2 on site dogs very cute!

Chalet Queenstown is close to town - up and down a steep hill or you can head left down another street before the hill as this is an easier route into town.....
