This was my first trip to Queenstown and was very happy with my stay here. the rooms are simple but clean & provide all the things you need to be comfortable. The staff were amazing and very helpful with booking tours, busses and even another hotel when our flight got cancelled.
would definitely stay there again
Only thing I would say is that if you cant handle walking up hills well get a hotel closer to the city centre

Little bit dated.
We stayed there after school holidays and it was a quiet time, not many people there. And our room was downstairs the view we had was of the car park, except to see the view we had to look past the single bed.
Pleasant staff very obliging. They booked our trip on the Earnslaw for the day after we arrived.
Not too far from the town.

My husband, adult son and daughter, and I spent 1 night in their 2 bedroom unit which is basic without frills Bedroom #1: queen bed with inner-spring mattress (OK), no closet, no dresser, has a wall mirror with so-so lighting, 2 bedside stands and a clock. Bedroom #2: 2 twins with inner-spring mattresses, a closet, no dresser, 1 bedside stand. A toilet and a very small sink are separate from the shower and sink that has a mirror above and a light, and a hairdryer. Kitchen: 3/4 size refrigerator, 4 burner electric cook-top stove, microwave, and toaster. There is no oven. The unit was non-smoking. Internet is available for a fee. A negative is that the windows do not have any screens which would have been welcomed. Parking is complementary near one's unit. One can walk 5-7 min. to the main downtown district where there is a grocery store and multiple restaurants.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. Very close to the town centre (easy 5 min walk) the room was nice and big, and very clean just a little bit dated but good value. Only downside was poor shower pressure. When in Queenstown the views and buffet at the Skyline Gondola are a must aswell as the famous Fergburger! (Def worth the queue) and for the more adventurous try the Shotover Jet! Loads of fun and suitable for all ages!

My friend & I shared accommodation here while at a conference. The motel was approx. two & three blocks from the three venues & luckily the weather was kind. We walked down to the cafes & shops but didn't have time to visit the gardens which were very close by. The rooms were comfortable & warm. I was rather surprised to have to pay full amount on arrival as we had put down a substantial deposit. I have travelled extensively in Europe & Australia & this wasn't the case there. Perhaps they have had people flit in the past? Our rooms were upstairs so we had a (small) view of the lake.
