food delicious, but the portion sizes small. Also you get rice with each dish ordered which we didn't really need.

Stayed at the Hilton, my favorite hotel so the restaurant is convenient. Service was very good and the chef was happy to customize my meal as I am into healthy eating. Chinese = heathy
no, but the food is very tasty!

Because the Hilton is somewhat remote from Queenstown itself we dined at hotel restaurants more than usual. Me & Mee is the type of situation I try to avoid by dining out. First of all, it is way more expensive than it should be. Mains are in the $25-30 range which for everyday Asian food is pretty steep. The spring rolls were good as was the beef dish. The veggies were not overcooked and the sauce was tasty. The fried rice was nothing special despite its $25-30 price and in fact was really greasy. The portions were huge so you may want to consider splitting your order. Service was friendly if a bit confused. If you have a choice, go into town for meals.

My wife and I ate here in January and were very disappointed with our meals. First - we asked what sides the lemon chicken and Hunan chicken meals came with, and we were told they came with rice and vegetables. The lemon chicken was served with rice and the smallest and skinniest slices of spring onions I've ever seen - not a vegetable in sight. Second - The Hunan chicken was chewy and overcooked with a terrible tasting sauce. I've tried Hunan chicken in China, the United States and Australia and this was the worst by the width of the three gorges dam. As if this wasn't bad enough - to add insult to injury the prices were astronomical. NZ$22+ mains. I'd be happy to accept these meals at a mall/food court for $12 a serve, but $22 is a disgrace. Then to top it off there is a provision for a tip on the bill!!! For starters tipping is not common practice is NZ, and even if I did give one here, there is no guarantee the poor waitress will get any of it. The only "tip" I could give this place is that Hunan chicken is meant to be spicy and crispy not chewy and bland.

Have been before to me mee so returned. First thing we noticed the prices have sky rocketed - so you expect good food and good service. We got neither. Only white wine by the glass was sav blanc. No explanation on menu of what the food is so we asked the waitress she also had no idea so brought me over the chefs notes which were pieces of paper all written over. We then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for the food which had been initially delivered to the wrong table. Entree and mains arrived at the same time. My dish was in ediable ad the others were mediocre at best. To be fair a woman in a uniform arrived and she could probably see he chaos and tried to help. She did not charge us for my meal. Do not waste your time or money to eat at me mees
